Boy, 6, goes missing on way to school as police launch major search to find him

A six-year-old boy has gone missing on his way to school this morning.

Police in Gloucestershire have launched a major search to find Jacob James, who was last seen in Tufthorn Road, Coleford, as he was heading to school at 8.30am today (Friday 19 March).

Officers are growing concerned for his welfare and would like to speak to anyone with information about his whereabouts.

Jacob is described as being 4ft tall with blond hair and was wearing a green camouflage jumper, black Adidas jogging bottoms and green camouflage shoes.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident 107 of 19 March.
