Breathable Neckband AC Units : Saiga wearable air conditioner

The ‘Saiga’ wearable air conditioner is a personal cooling device for use in the summertime to provide effective relief from scorching temperatures in cities and beyond. The unit works by being positioned onto the neck and will go to work delivering cooling relief directly to the back of the neck to quickly chill down the user. A built-in mouthpiece can also be used for providing internal heat relief to take cooling to the next level when temperatures begin to soar.

The ‘Saiga’ wearable air conditioner is the design work of Harry Barber, Kevin Chiam, Wei Haw Huang and Nacho Vilanova of the Imperial College of London. The device could help to reduce the need for conventional air conditioners by providing targeted relief indoors or out.
